How to upload images in your dashboard Media #
- Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
- From the left-hand side menu, click on ‘Media’ and then select ‘Add New’.
- You’ll be directed to the “Upload New Media” screen. Here, you have a few options to upload your images:
- Drag and drop your image files directly into the designated area on the screen.
- Click on the “Select Files” button to browse your computer and select the image files you want to upload.
Once you’ve chosen the image files, WordPress will start uploading them. You can see the progress of the upload, and once it’s complete, the images will appear in the media library.
How to add alt text #
- After uploading the image file, click the ‘Edit’ button on the right.
- Then you can edit the alternative text here.
- Lastly, click the ‘Update’ button to save your overall changes.
How to add optimize the file size #
- Click the ‘Edit Image’ button to edit your image size.
- You can edit the scale image.
- After editing the image size, click the ‘Save’ button to save your changes.
- Lastly, click the ‘Update’ button to save your overall changes.
